– How To Remove Hard Water Stains?

Dealing with those annoying hard water stains in your bathroom? You can easily get rid of them by simply cutting a lemon in half then rubbing it over the hard water stains. Let the juice sit for a few minutes before you rinse with warm water.

Finally, make sure you dry the surface with a paper towel to avoid more stains from forming!

– How To Deal With A Smelly Dishwasher?

If you don’t clean your dishwasher as often as necessary it most likely will start to smell weird, however, here is a quick and easy trick to get rid of the odour.

Fill a cup of vinegar and place it on the top rack of your appliance then run a hot full cycle. This is everything you need to do – the vinegar will get rid of the smell and it will also disinfect the appliance!

– How To Freshen Up Your Carpet?

Cleaning your carpet every few months is crucial for maintaining it clean and disinfected. It’s recommended that you either leave the professionals to do this or buy a steam cleaner machine. Steam is the only thing that is powerful enough to really get rid of all impurities as well as the bacteria in your carpet.

However, if you don’t have a steam cleaner and you rely on experts to do the cleaning for you, you still need to know how to freshen up the carpet in between your appointments.

To do that simply mix baking soda with a few drops of lavender or tea tree essential oil then sprinkle the mixture all over your carpet. Leave it overnight then vacuum the baking powder. The baking powder is amazing at absorbing any bad odours and freshening up the fibers while the essential oils have antibacterial properties and they will remove any germs!

– How To Freshen Up Your Mattress?

Just like your carpet, your mattress also requires to be cleaned every few months (every six months is ideal). But in between cleaning it, you can use the same method used on a carpet to freshen it up.

Again, mix baking soda and lavender/ tea tree essential oil and sprinkle the powder all over your mattress. Let it sit for a few hours then vacuum it up!
